Ten Box Stays sits on 10 quiet acres of an active working honey farm near Burleson, Texas. Away from city noise, it is a peaceful place to slow down, listen, and watch the birds.

Birdwatching on the farm

Walk the nature trails in the early morning, when the farm is at its quietest, or settle onto the porch of Honey Hollow with a cup of coffee and see who comes by. Open land, the edges of the trails, and the flowering plants that keep our bees busy all make the farm a welcoming place for birds through the seasons.

What you might see

A list of birds seen on the farm is coming soon.

Bring your own gear

Bring your binoculars, a field guide or birding app, and a notebook if you like to keep a list. Comfortable walking shoes are a good idea for the trails.

Take a little of the farm home

Bird food and wildflower seeds are available at the farm shop, so you can welcome birds and pollinators to your own backyard. Hats, shirts, honey, and stickers are available in our online Farm Shop.

Bees, birds, and nature

Birdwatching pairs naturally with the rest of a stay here: watch the observation hive inside Honey Hollow, book the optional Beekeeping Experience, and enjoy the slower pace of farm life. Whether you come for the birds, the bees, or simply to reconnect with nature, we hope you leave with a real experience to remember.
